long been grappling with overlapping crises, including
political instability, socioeconomic collapse, natural hazards,
and rampant gang violence. Since September 2022, the
situation has worsened, with gangs expanding their control
and carrying out brutal attacks on critical infrastructure in
Port-au-Prince, including schools, hospitals, and police
stations. This has led to the collapse of essential services,
including healthcare and education, further exacerbating
humanitarian needs. In March 2024, violence skyrocketed
in Port-au-Prince with numerous and repeated attacks,
leaving the population of the Port-au-Prince metropolitan
